"Upheaval, is about trans love. Trans people understand each other in a way cis people just can't, and loving other trans people makes me love myself more. Trans, was influenced by my experience of being in the closet, then subsequently coming out of the closet: first as a trans man, then as nonbinary. My name is very important to me and choosing it gave me a type of freedom that is indescribable."
