'Intertwine (Hold Us Dear)' A4 fine art print on 190 gsm recycled uncoated paper - is a firm (both literally and metaphorically) statement for you to have on your walls!

An illustration by Dorian Rose (@dori.oki) for issue 7's cover!

"This art is supposed to represent the act of solidarity whilst being lost, featuring a trans masc and trans femme person who don't conform to normative stereotypes of how to be 'transgender'. The trans masc person grows long hair, wears what some would call 'slurry, feminine' clothing. The trans femme person has short hair, and keeps her/their body hair trimmed in personally meaningful ways.

The two people are supposed to be pink and blue skinned to represent how they feel inside (and not how others see them). Even tho people don't have pink and blue skin. Well, unless I've been out in the sun for too long (mm crispy bacon).

These two characters are supposed to be represented as keeping each other close using a thread 'of human thought'. Symbolic for the ways that experience and language can help form bonds of safety and good health in an otherwise chaotic society."

Buying our prints is a brilliant way to get something out of donating to our project. Pricing is based on cost to pay the artist, materials, shipping, VAT, and upkeep of Trans_Muted.
